More about the Treo 700P

Well, after about 2 months, I can say that this is the best technology in my life. I’m getting mail, contacts, appointments and all else pushed from outlook to my phone at regular intervals with no freezing or problems. This thing is superb. No synchronizing ever. Verizon network coverage really is a huge improvement over Sprint.
OK now SANDRA, let me tell you something…I have been in the modern age since 2003 when I bought my first Treo. The freezing of your Treo 700W is attributable to your new operating system (Windows) on the Handspring- I mean Palm- hardware. It will probably work well in a few revisions. The Palm OS is proven, easy to use and is simple. What I read is that the Palm software Documents to Go actually does a better job than the Microsoft products for reading Word, Excel and Powerpoint documents on the cellphone. It sure works for me.

I did have false rings until I realized that I had the push thing set up WAY wrong. One simple adjustment and I have been in great shape. Now if I could just get it to sync to Backpack, my life would be complete.

May I recommend to those curious the Treocentral website. It includes about everything you might need to know to purchase, research, furnish or fix a Treo.

Im pleased you like your new toy Vic, I cant give up my HPIcrap even though it regularly resets itself, drops calls and announces to the world that there are no better ring tones than the T-Mobile jingle. I like the fact mine doesnt take up the space with a keyboard – I like even more though that SD cards are coming down in price to the extent that you can buy a 2gb card for $20. Looking forward to continued development in this area, better camera resolution and integrated GPS for navigation.
