The Tipping Point for Digital Innovation at RIT
There are SO many new activities on campus surrounding Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship, I can hardly keep up! Examples:
1. Our new president, Dr. Bill Destler, is driving innovation as a key theme in all of his communications. They have asked yours truly to teach a capstone course for our new innovation freshman sequence.
2. The Albert Simone Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is rocking with lots of new projects and activities, including our upcoming Entrep. Conference on October 5th. Look for lots of digital content there!
3. My friend and colleague Jon Schull has just told me about his new course in a new amazing space ESPECIALLY DEDICATED to collaboration using technology. MBA students, for an amazing experience (and course credit) you should take his course called Innovation and Invention Thursdays 10-2 see attached PDF Innovation and Invention.
There is much more to tell you about, but I will try to keep the blog and my other electronic outlets updated regularly. Suffice it to say, I think that we may be at the tipping point. (Actually, my Ohio State prof, Jordan Pollack, would call it a phase transition. Gladwell got most of his stuff from Complexity Theory).
