Digital Entrepreneurship Tipping Point 2

We are experiencing a real tipping point in our Digital Entrepreneurship community (http://digent.rit.edu)! This Fall, with no class to drive it, the digent social network has grown approximately 33% larger.

Why is this happening? First, RIT’s Entrepreneurship Conference attracted more local people to the network. Then, Richard DeMartino has invited a number of prestigious faculty who participated in Stanford’s Roundtable for Entrepreneurship Education. Beyond that, our high ranking on Google is helping new people find their way in.

BUT, this is just the beginning. Winter quarter starts December 3rd, and on that day we begin to build the next generation of digital entrepreneurs. Participants from the Digital Entrepreneurship course, along with our Freshmen Learning community members will join the network to contribute and learn.
